Install wiring harness of additional fan for COMAND - AN82.85-P-0005-02EW

MODEL 212.0##/2## 1# up to 4/12/13

Wrap COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) with felt tape.

Use the white 4-pin connector (2) of the COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) and the white 4-pin plug of the COMAND fan motor (M4/13) to create the radio fan electrical connector (X120).

Route COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) from the radio fan electrical connection (X120) to the slot of the COMAND controller unit.

Remove black 12-pin coupling (4) from 42-pin coupling (3).

Remove insert (5) from black 12-pin connector (4).

Install electrical lines (6) of COMAND fan motor wiring harness in insert (5).

Assignment:

Contact cavity 1= Gray/yellow line

Contact cavity 2= Brown/yellow line

Contact cavity 7= Gray line

Contact cavity 8= Red/yellow line

Install insert (5) into black 12-pin connector (4).

Install black 12-pin coupling (4) at 42-pin coupling (3).
