	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer basic data of rear entertainment system in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the DVD player (A40/4). Transfer buffered basic data to rear entertainment system.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Open armrest (2).
3	Release front catch hook (5) and remove cover (3) using extraction hook (6) upwards	The unlocking of the catch hook (5) is shown here by way of an example with a blind rivet (4) of approx. 2 mm. It is also possible to use other suitable tools or objects with a diameter of approx. 2 mm.

5	Disconnect electrical connectors (7)
6	Remove bolts (9)
7	Pull DVD player (A40/4) upwards and out of the bracket (8)
8	Install in the reverse order
