3	Detach edge guard in area of A-pillar cover (12) and right door sill
4	Remove A-pillar cover (12) in right footwell
5	Remove floor covering at front right (20)
6	Remove glove box

9	Retrofit Universal Media Interface adapter wiring harness		AZ82.85-P-0004-02EC

15	Strap down the electrical connector for the media interface previously installed in the glove box to the vehicle wiring harness and wrap felt tape around it	Vehicles with CODE 518 (Media Interface)
16	Install glove box

		The connecting cable (2) must be routed into the front passenger footwell when installing the glove box. It is connected at a later stage to the Universal Media Interface control unit (1).
17	Retrofit Universal Media Interface control unit (1)		AZ82.85-P-0004-04EC
18	Install remaining parts
19	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach note "Universal Media Interface retrofitted as per AZ82.85-P-0004EC " under field organization texts to design group 82.
20	Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)

21	Perform variant coding with XENTRY using the software calibration number (SCN)	Log in navigation by entering 3-digit code "56o" into instrument cluster. Ensure here that the third digit is the letter "o" for Oscar. On vehicles with CODE 518 (Media Interface), delete the special equipment Media Interface from the vehicle data card and online vehicle data card since it is no longer available.
22	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS
			AD00.00-P-2000-04A
23	Run function check on Universal Media Interface	The AUX connection electrical connector that is installed as standard no longer works. The information on the Universal Media Interface is displayed through the instrument cluster.
