	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by hands or feet being pinched or crushed when working on windshield or windows	Secure windows to prevent them from falling, use only the prescribed lifting tools, always wear safety shoes.	AS67.00-Z-0003-01A
	Notes on avoiding damage to windows installed in special high-security vehicles		AH67.00-P-0003-01FB
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Completely open crank window (12).
2	Remove rear door lining		AR72.12-P-1010CW
3	Disconnect electrical connector on left rear door (X35/3) or electrical connector on right rear door (X35/4)
4	Unclip grommets (2, 3)
5	Pull door wiring harness (1) out of rear door
6	Remove grommets (6, 7) from inner door panel (5)
7	Remove bolts (4)		*BA72.12-P-1006-01O
8	Remove inner door panel (5) from rear door, simultaneously guide inside door handle Bowden cable and locking pin Bowden cable through	Lay inner door panel (5) down to side with attached electrical wiring harness until nuts (10) are accessible.
9	Unscrew nuts (10)		*BA72.12-P-1007-01O
10	Move crank window (12) completely upward
11	Secure crank window (12) against falling down with clamping pliers	Aid of helper required.	Figure
12	Pull window guide rubber (13) out of window guide rail (16)
13	Remove bolt (14)
14	Unscrew nut (15)		*BA72.12-P-1008-01O
15	Remove window guide rail (16) from rear door
16	Remove clamping pliers	Remove clamping pliers, only when window (6) is secured against falling down with aid of helper

17	Slide crank window (12) down until it is positioned in mounts on power window rail (11).
18	Remove waistline trim strip
19	Remove window guide rubber (13) from window divider (19)	Moisten rear of window guide rubber (13) with lubricant
		Antifriction agent	*BR00.45-Z-1010-06A
20	Remove bolts (18)
21	Remove window divider (19) upward from rear door
22	Mask edges of window shaft, B-pillar cover and rear window frame with adhesive tape (17)	To protect against scratching crank window (12).
23	Remove crank window (12) upward and outward out of window channel in rear door	Aid of helper required.
24	Install in the reverse order
