Location 

The right front door control unit is located on the door module behind the door lining.

Task 

The right front door control unit has the following tasks:

• Reading in of signals 
• Evaluation of input factors 
• Actuation of components 

Reading in of signals 

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

• Direct line 
• Right front door LIN (LIN B6) 
• Interior CAN (CAN B) 

Direct line 

The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:

• Right front door rotary tumbler switch (A85/1s1)
• Hall sensors for left front power window motor (M10/4)
• Vertical inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/2r2) (with code (275) Electrically adjustable front seats memory package)
• Potentiometer for horizontal inclination adjustment (M212r3) (with code (275) Electrically adjustable front seats memory package)
• Passenger-side power window switch (S212)
• Right front door central locking interior switch (S856):
  • Open central locking switch (S856s1)
  • Close central locking switch (S856s2)

Right front door LIN 

The signals for the following components are read in by the right front door LIN:

• Right front seat adjustment switch group (S23) (with code (275) Memory package for electrically adjustable front seats):
  • Right front head restraint adjustment switch (S23s1)
  • Right front seat inclination adjustment switch (S23s2)
  • Right front seat fore/aft adjustment switch (S23s3)
  • Right front seat height adjustment switch (S23s4)
  • Right front backrest adjustment switch (S23s5)
  • Right front memory function switch (S23s6)
  • Right front memory 1 switch (S23s7)
  • Right front memory 2 switch (S23s8)
  • Right front memory 3 switch (S23s9)

The right front door control unit supplies the connected control elements with c. 58d.

Interior CAN 

The signals are read in via the interior CAN.

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
