Location
The right front door control unit is located on the door module behind the door lining.
Task
The right front door control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- Direct lines
- Right door LIN (LIN B6)
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
Direct lines
The signals from the following components are read via a direct line:
- Right front door rotary tumbler switch (A85/1s1)
- Hall sensor for right front door power window motor (M10/4)
- Potentiometer for vertical inclination adjustment (M21/2r2) (with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors))
- Potentiometer for horizontal inclination adjustment (M21/2r3) (with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors))
- Passenger-side power window switch (S21/2)
- Right front door central locking interior switch (S85/6):
- Open central locking switch (S85/6s1)
- Close central locking switch (S85/6s2)
Right door LIN
The signals for the following components are read in via the right door LIN:
- Right front seat adjustment switch group (S23) (with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory):
- Right front head restraint adjustment switch (S23s1)
- Right front seat inclination adjustment switch (S23s2)
- Right front seat fore/aft adjustment switch (S23s3)
- Right front seat height adjustment switch (S23s4)
- Right front backrest adjustment switch (S23s5)
- Right front memory function switch (S23s6)
- Right front memory 1 switch (S23s7)
- Right front memory 2 switch (S23s8)
- Right front memory 3 switch (S23s9)
The right front door control unit supplies the connected control elements with c. 58d.
Interior CAN
The signals are read in by the right front door control unit via the interior CAN.
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions.
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
