4	Remove glove compartment (5)

5	Fold back floor covering (2) in front passenger footwell
6	Unscrew nuts (arrow) from footrest (4), remove footrest (4), fold backwards and place with electrical lines connected onto floor covering (2)	Handle footrest (4) carefully. Otherwise damage to the electrical lines may occur.
7	Remove front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) and place to one side with electrical connectors attached

8.1	Remove multifunction antenna	With CODE 228 (Stationary heater) or with CODE 386 (Comfort telephony) The multifunction antenna is no longer required.
8.2	Remove mock-up multifunction antenna	Without CODE 228 (Stationary heater) or CODE 386 (Comfort telephony) Removal:  The mock-up multifunction antenna is removed in the same manner as the multifunction antenna. The mock-up multifunction antenna is no longer required.
9	Remove right front and right rear entrance
10	Remove right lower A-pillar paneling
11	Remove lower right B-pillar trim
12	Remove right C-pillar trim

25	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)

26	Perform variant coding on "Audio 20" with XENTRY using Software Calibration Number (SCN)
27	Perform variant coding on "Instrument cluster" with XENTRY using Software Calibration Number (SCN)
