The current power flows for the various driving conditions of the hybrid drive can be shown in the display unit of the COMAND and in the IC (A1).
The hybrid system is operational.
The internal combustion engine runs and drives the electric machine as an alternator. The generated three-phase alternating voltage is converted by the power electronics control unit (N129/1) into a direct voltage (high voltage) and stores it in the high-voltage battery (A100g1).
The power flow takes place from the internal combustion engine to the rear axle.
The power flow takes place from the internal combustion engine to the rear axle. The internal combustion engine also drives the electric machine as an alternator. The generated three-phase alternating stress is converted by the power electronics control unit into direct voltage (high voltage) and stores it in the high-voltage battery.
The power flow only takes from the internal combustion engine and from the electric machine to the rear axle.
The high-voltage battery supplies the electric machine with electrical energy. To do this the power electronics control unit converts the direct voltage (high voltage) into three phase alternating stress. The electric machine reacts by generating a torque, which acts on the drive supportively to the torque of the internal combustion engine.
The power flow takes place from rear axle to the electric machine.
The kinetic energy of the vehicle is converted by the electric machine into electrical energy (three phase AC voltage). This energy is converted by the power electronics control unit into a direct voltage (high voltage) and charges the high-voltage battery with this.
The power flow takes place from the electric machine onto the drive.
The high-voltage battery supplies the electric machine with electrical energy. To do this the power electronics control unit converts the direct voltage (high voltage) into three phase alternating stress. The electric machine responds by generating a torque, which acts on the drive.
