Remove/install mechanical stop lamp switch - AR42.10-P-0040EW

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove cover on driver side under the instrument panel MODEL 166, 172, 190, 197, 204, 205, 207, 212, 217, 218, 221, 222 (except 222.004/057/104/157), 231  
MODEL 217, 222.0 (except 222.004/057), 222.1 (except 222.104/157) AR68.10-P-1500LF
MODEL 231 AR68.10-P-1500RK
MODEL 205 AR68.10-P-1500LW
MODEL 190, 197 AR68.10-P-1501RQ
2 Disconnect electrical connector from brake light switch (S9/1)    
3 Detach cover (1) IMPORTANT If necessary.  
4 Pull out brake light switch (S9/1), press catches together (arrows) and detach bracket (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Depress the brake pedal (3) fully and insert the brake light switch (S9/1) with bracket (2). Press in the brake light switch (S9/1) fully, release the brake pedal (3) and pull back using little force (recommended value 20 N).  
5 Install in the reverse order
