3	Pry radial shaft sealing ring (32a) out of rear axle differential (50) using a suitable tool	Do not damage seat surface of radial shaft sealing ring (32a). Leaks can otherwise occur.

4	Clean seat of radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in rear axle differential (50) using clean, lint-free rag and assembly cleaner	The seat of the radial shaft sealing ring (32a) in the rear axle differential (50) must be free of oil and dirt. Leaks can otherwise occur. Assembly cleaner must not enter the rear axle differential (50). Otherwise, the rear axle differential (50) may be damaged.
