Notes on installing brake hoses - AH42.10-P-9406-01GH

NOTES Only install brake hoses which are approved by Mercedes-Benz.

Otherwise the required brake power may not be reached.

When connecting up brake hoses (51), ensure that the brake hose is not twisted. A minimum distance of 15 mm from other axle components must be guaranteed in all driving situations.

Front axle:  The installation position of the brake hose (51) on the bracket (52) is specified by the groove on the bracket and the tab on the brake hose connection.

Rear axle:  A bihexagon is available in the bracket (52). Insert the brake hose (51) into the bracket (52) such that the it does not chafe when the vehicle is compressed and rebounded.
