IMPORTANT Only install brake hoses (51) which have been approved by Mercedes-Benz.

When connecting brake hoses (51), ensure that the brake hose (51) is not installed twisted (free of twists). An adequate distance from other axle components must be guaranteed in all driving situations.

IMPORTANT MODEL 129, 140

A retainer plate (60) with a bi-hexagon or multi-point profile is attached on the bracket (52). Insert brake hose (51) in the retainer plate (60) so that it does not chafe on vehicle parts on full left and right steering angle, or at full compression and rebound travel.
