MODEL 124, 129, 140, 168, 202, 208, 210, 414
- The repairs to be carried out should be handled in a way that is economical, i.e. wages and material costs (excluding paintwork) should not exceed approx. 75 % of the replacement part price.
- Repair using materials from the Teroson plastics repair box in event of damage:
- Bumper cover, protective bumper strips on all models
- Front fender for model 168, 414 in form of abrasions deeper than 1 mm
- Cracks and holes < 40 mm.
Exception: Rear-end door on model 168, 414. Here only abrasions deeper than 1 mm may be repaired.
- Drill a hole at the end of the crack using a 5 mm drill bit.
- It is advisable to use small belt sanders for the grinding work in preparation for the plastic repair.
It is advisable to use round eccentric grinders for grinding after the repaired plastic has hardened and in preparation for the paintwork.
- The repaired section is only ground on the side to be painted.
- Abrasions < 1 mm can be repaired using the customary paint repair solution.
