| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | AH00.00-N-0001-01A | ||
| 1 | Secure vehicle to prevent it rolling away and release parking brake | ||
| 2 | Remove left cover below dashboard | ||
| 3 | Detach cover of parking brake pedal assembly (1) | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2) at parking brake indicator switch (S12) | ||
| 5 | Unhook release cable (3) from support lug (4) | ||
| 6 | Press separating point (6) down using assembly tool and detach front brake cable (5) | ||

| 7 | Remove bolts (7) | *BA42.20-P-1001-01L | |
| 8 | Detach front brake cable (5) from parking brake pedal assembly (1) | Fig 2 | |
| 9 | Unclip retaining clip (8) for release cable (3) and remove parking brake pedal assembly (1) | ||
| 10 | Remove parking brake indicator switch (S12) | When replacing the parking brake pedal assembly (1). | |
| 11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 12 | Operate parking brake pedal (9) several times in succession | ||
| Checking | |||
| 13 | Check pedal travel on parking brake pedal (9) | ||
