Step 4

	Initial startup
1	Order retrofitting via parts ordering process, specifying vehicle identification number (FIN)	Further Information available in the Aftersales Portal at: "Info Center" "PIT Aftersales" "Parts" "Genuine Parts" "Cars"
2	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle using FIN
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
3	Check if CODE 345 (Windshield wipers with rain sensor) is entered on the online vehicle data card	If not: ↓ Enter CODE 345 (Windshield wipers with rain sensor) on the online vehicle data card.
4	Carry out variant coding of electronic ignition lock (EZS) using software calibration number (SCN)
5	Disconnect diagnostic system
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
6	Perform function test of rain sensor	See owner's manual.
7	Attach note "Rain sensor of windshield wiper system retrofitted as per AN82.30-P-0001LW" in Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc).
