	Remove/install
1	Remove intermediate housing		AR27.40-P-0500EH
		Cleanliness is essential when working on the transmission. Otherwise, even the smallest foreign particle in the hydraulic components of the transmission can lead to malfunctions or a total failure of the transmission. For cleaning, use lint-free cleaning cloth. Chamois leathers are the most suitable.
2.1	Remove bolts (2) from rotor cover (3)	For bolted on rotor cover (3) only. Installation  : Replace bolts (2).
		Screw/bolt, rotor cover to rotor	*BA27.10-P-1022-04G
2.2	Detach retaining ring (9) from rotor cover (3)	For fitted rotor cover (3) only.
3	Pry rotor cover (3) off rotor (4) using assembly wedge then remove	Carefully pry off rotor cover (3). Otherwise the stator coils (5) of the electrical machine and the sealing surfaces may be damaged. Transmission 724.2with bolted on rotor cover Installation  : Align rotor cover (3) with guide pin (6) to rotor (4). Use longer guide pin (6).

4	Check oil pump bearing (7)	In event of wear or damage ↓ Replace oil pump bearing (7).	AR27.57-P-1010-01EH
		Guide sleeve	Fig 3
5	Remove start-up clutch (1) from rotor (4)	Installation  : Generally replace the Torlon rings (8).
6	Install in the reverse order
