The Daimler AG materials for paint and corrosion protection have been replaced with approved materials from our system partners. Care, cleaning and preservation agents as well as materials for paint repair (paint touch-up pens and paint spray cans) are still assigned Daimler AG part numbers and are available from the Global Logistics Center (GLC) in Germersheim.

The approved and checked materials from the following companies are to be used:

DuPont Performance Coatings 

BASF Coatings AG 

PPG Industries International 

For the leather paints, only the current standard colors are available from the GLC in Germersheim. All other shades can be ordered from Lindgens company.

On clear-coat systems with higher scratch resistance, the instructions provided must be followed (service information). All approved materials and paint partners are stored in the After-Sales Portal under the category "Paint technology".
