REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Move side window in front door to lower-most position.    
2.1 Loosen door trim (1) until electrical connectors (3, 4) on front door control unit (12) are accessible. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293
except code 270 (Aerial for GPS)
except code 274 (Telephone antenna)
except code 501 (360° camera)

2.2 Remove door trim (1) at front door. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293
with code 270 (Aerial for GPS)

3 Remove mirror triangle trim (2) on front door. IMPORTANT Model 205.0/1/2
with code 810 (Sound system)

Allow mirror triangle paneling (2) to hang down
with electrical line connected.
IMPORTANT Model 213
Allow mirror triangle paneling (2) to hang down
with electrical lines connected. The number of electrical connectors may vary depending on the equipment.
 
4 Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4) from front door control unit (12).    
5 Unclip electrical connector (5) from bracket and disconnect. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293
with code 501 (360° camera)
 
6 Unclip electrical connector (6) from bracket and disconnect. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293
with code 274 (Telephone antenna)
 
7 Unclip electrical connector (7) from bracket and disconnect. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293
with code 270 (Aerial for GPS)
 
8 Loosen window frame trim (13) in area of screws (9). Model 213
IMPORTANT The window frame paneling (13) is clipped into the window frame with a retaining clip in the area of the mirror triangle.
 
9 Lift seal (8) and remove screws (9).    
10 Move top of outside mirror (11) out of door seal (10) and remove.    
11 Install in the reverse order    
12.1 Calibrate 360° camera in outside mirror (11) with diagnostic system. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293
with code 501 (360° camera)
If the left or right outside mirror (11) has been removed.

12.2 Calibrate all the cameras in the 360° camera system using the vehicle diagnosis system. Model 205.0/1/2, 213, 253, 293

If the left or right outside mirror (11) has been removed.

13 Perform function test of outside mirror (11).
