| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Remove trunk recess trim. | ||

| 6 | Unscrew nuts (3), remove screws (4) and lift holder (5) together with the mounted control units and place to one side. | Model 205.4 as of model year 2019 with code B01 (48V technology) |

| 7 | Unscrew nuts (6). | ||
| 8 | Lift bracket (7) together with mounted control units far enough until the rear SAM control unit (N10/8) is accessible. | ||
| 9 | Disconnect all electrical connectors from rear SAM control unit (N10/8). | ||
| 10 | Remove screw/bolt (8). | ||
| 11 | Route rear SAM control unit (N10/8) out of holder (7) and remove. | ||
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
