Partially Remove Inner Side Wall With Rear Outer Wheelhouse - Ar63.10-P-6050-01CLW

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.
- Mark separating points on inner C-pillar side wall (1) and cut (areas A and B).
Do not cut too deeply.
Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
- Expose spot welds on inner C-pillar side wall (1) and reinforcement (2) and cut (areas C and D).
Cut out spot welds from inside (area D).
- Expose laser seams on inner C-pillar side wall (1) and cut (areas E).
- Expose weld seams on inner C-pillar side wall (1) and cut (area H).
Cut spot weld through two panel thicknesses (area G).
- Expose spot welds on inner C-pillar side wall (1) and cut (areas F and G).
- Heat inner C-pillar side wall (1) and reinforcement (2) in crosshatched areas.
- Remove C-pillar inner side wall (1) and reinforcement (2).
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove grinding dust and drill chips.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas J).
Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
