Install Inner C-Pillar Side Wall - Ar63.10-P-0700-04LW

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.
- Install inner C-pillar side wall (1), reinforcement (2), C-pillar and rear fender with portal bracket and fit.
- Fix inner C-pillar side wall (1) and reinforcement (2) in place.
- Remove portal bracket, rear fender and C-pillar.
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in inner C-pillar side wall (1) (areas A and B).
Drill rivet holes through present holes in body (areas A).
- Remove C-pillar inner side wall (1) and reinforcement (2).
- Deburr rivet holes on inner C-pillar side wall (1), reinforcement (2) and body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install inner C-pillar side wall (1) and reinforcement (2), fit and fix in place.
- Rivet inner C-pillar side wall (1) with Ø 6.4x12 rivets (areas C).
- Inner C-pillar side wall (1) and reinforcement (2)
(areas D).
- Weld in inner C-pillar side wall (1) with
(area E).
Stitch weld with approx. 15 mm long inert gas welds.
- Grind inert gas welds down flat (area E).
Grind only on beaded areas and contact surfaces on C-pillar and rear fender.
- Clean inert gas welds no longer accessible after installing C-pillar and coat with zinc dust paint (area E).
