Install C-Pillar - Ar63.20-P-0500-03CLW

Model 205.3 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Install C-pillar (1) and strut (2), fit and fix in place.
2. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in C-pillar (1) and strut (2) (areas A and B).
3. Remove C-pillar (1) and strut (2).
4. Deburr rivet holes on C-pillar (1), strut (2) and body on both sides.
5. Remove drilling chips.
6. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

   5 Do not coat bonding surface with zinc dust paint (area A).

   Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.

7. Apply 2-component adhesive to cross-hatched area of body.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for curing and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

8. Install C-pillar (1) and strut (2) and fix in place.
9. Rivet C-pillar (1) and strut (2) with Ø 6.4x12 rivets (areas C).
10. C-pillar (1) and strut (2) (areas D).
11. Clean weld joints that are no longer accessible after rear fender is installed, and coat with zinc dust paint.
