	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Remove/install
1	Secure vehicle on vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-0100CW
2	Remove center and rear engine compartment paneling	If necessary
			AR61.20-P-1105LW
3	Remove the left and right underfloor paneling	For removal of the exhaust system up to the rear muffler connecting point
			AR61.30-P-1001LW
4	Detach center reinforcement brace at frame floor assembly	The reinforcement brace remains with the mounting rubber on the exhaust system.
		Screw/bolt, center reinforcement to frame floor assembly	*BA61.10-P-1003-01L
5	Disconnect electrical connection for corresponding oxygen sensor and expose feed line	For removal of the respective CAT

6	Unfasten corresponding components of exhaust system at respective connecting points and remove	Align components for the exhaust system before firmly tightening screw connections free of tension.

		Nut, catalytic converter to catalytic converter bracket	*BA49.10-P-1002-02A

		Bolt, rear exhaust system bracket to body	*BA49.10-P-1012-02A
	Clean
7	Remove combustion and corrosion residue at separating points
8	Check decoupling element (6) for damage and wear; replace if necessary
9	Install in the reverse order
	Check
10	Check installation position and unobstructed movement of all components of the exhaust system
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11	Perform an engine test run and check exhaust system for leaktightness
