1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
2	Remove engine cover (1)
3	Remove right engine compartment cover	Engine 274.9 in model 205.047/147/247
4	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of the air filter (2)
5	Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter	ENGINE 651
5	Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter	ENGINE 651	AR09.10-P-8130OLD
6	Detach cable for engine hood catch from cold air intake (3)
7	Remove cold air intake (3) at reinforcement (4)
8	Detach front bumper		AR88.20-P-2000LW
8	Detach front bumper	Remove screw/bolts (5 pieces) of the front bumper at basic carrier above and thereby release front bumper.
9	Remove reinforcement (4)		AR62.30-P-1570LW
10	Detach A/T oil cooler at fan unit (5) and place with attached lines to one side	Transmission 724.2 in model 205 with engine 274.9 Transmission 724.2 in model 205 with engine 651	AR27.55-P-1000RFH

11	Unclip coolant hose from fan unit (5)	Engine 274.9 in model 205.047/147/247
12	Unclip the switchover valve with mounting plate from cooler and place with attached lines to one side	Engine 274.9 in model 205.047/147/247
13	Unclip retaining lugs (6) for upper air duct segment (7) from fan unit (5) and place to one side
14	Disconnect electrical connection (8) on fan unit (5)	Make sure that electrical connection (8) engages properly.
15	Disconnect electrical connection at radiator shutters actuator motor on fan unit (5)	Engine 274.9 in model 205 (except 205.047/147/247)
16	Remove front and central sections of the lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105LW
17	Clip the lower air duct segment (11) out of both shackles from fan unit (10) from fan unit (5) and bend at the hinge function downwards
18	Lower vehicle
19	Unhook fan unit (5) from radiator mount and pull out upwards	Do not damage coolant hoses. Leaks can occur otherwise. Check for correct seating of the formings (9) in the cooler mount. Helper required.
20	Install in the reverse order
