	Remove/install
1	Connect diagnostic system and save basic data of left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)	Only when replacing the left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).

2	Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
3	Turn left or right front wheel inwards
4	Detach front section of fender liner (1) until left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7) is accessible		AR88.10-P-1300LW
5	Remove screws/bolts (2) at left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)
6	Pull out left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7) until electrical connectors (3) can be disconnected	Ensure that the seal is seated correctly on left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).
7	Disconnect electrical connectors (3) and remove left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)
8	Install in the reverse order
	Initial startup
9	Perform SCN coding of left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)	Only when replacing the left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).

10	Transfer the previously saved basic data to left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)	Only when replacing the left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7).

11	Perform initial startup of left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7)	Only when replacing the left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E1n7) or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting (E2n7). Note Data Matrix code on left front lamp unit or right front lamp unit.
