	Remove/install
1	Completely lower side window in front door (1)
2	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key
3	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003LW
4	Mask fender (2) and front door (1) in crosshatched area with adhesive tape
5	Disconnect left front electrical connector (X35/1) or right front door electrical connector (X35/2)
6	Remove cap from grub screw (5)
7	Unscrew grub screws (5, 6) from hinges (3, 4) 3 turns	Repair paint damage in area of grub screws (5, 6).

8	Remove front door (1) from lower hinge leaves and lay down on suitable base	Carefully remove front door (1) or insert. If the front door(1) comes into contact with the vehicle, the paint can be damaged. Helper required. The exterior contour of the hinge bolt (4.1) should be flush with the inside contour of the bolt mount (4.2).
9	Install in the reverse order
	Check
10	Check gap dimensions on front door (1)	If there are problems: ↓ Adjust gaps on front door (1).

11	Calibrate power window
