	Preparatory tasks
1	Switch on ignition
	Check
2	Check parking brake indicator lamp (A1e10)	The parking brake indicator lamp (A1e10) must light up. If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
3	Check front fog lamp indicator lamp (A1e57)	For vehicles with front fog lamp The front fog lamp indicator lamp (A1e57) must light up. If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
4	Check tire pressure monitor warning lamp (A1e66)	With code (475) Tire pressure monitor The tire pressure monitor warning lamp (A1e66) must light up. If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
5	Check battery reserve warning lamp (A1e76)	If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
6	Manually switch on the exterior lights
7	Check instrument illumination	All pointer instruments (A1p8, A1p19, A1p20, A1p22) must light up and the background illumination must be activated with the existing displays (1, A1). If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
8	Check display (A1) for visible pixel errors	If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
9	Manually switch off exterior lights
10	Switch on lamps in passenger compartment and check for proper operation	Check inside rear-view mirror, reading, mirror and glove compartment lamps. If there are problems: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order.
11	Switch off lamps in passenger compartment and ignition
