- Swivel clamping device (2) on a double hexagon (3) clockwise (arrow) against the spring force.
Ensure correct installation position of poly-V belt (1) on the guide pulleys and belt pulleys; lay on poly-V belt (1) again if necessary.
- Insert drill bit (4) (4 mm dia.) through the bores of the clamping device (2) lying one above the other in order to lock the clamping device (2) in this position.
For vehicles with code (MJ7) ECO Start the deflection after locking is not sufficient to remove the double poly-V belt or to put it on. It is therefore necessary to swivel and hold the clamping device with the aid of an assistant against the spring force during removal or placing on.
