Component Description For Boost Pressure Control Flap Pressure Transducer - GF09.40-D-2154HD
ENGINE 651.955/957 in MODEL 906
Location
The boost pressure control flap pressure transducer is located above the throttle actuator in the left rear.
Task
The boost pressure control flap pressure transducer uses vacuum to control the position of the boost pressure control flap (open, closed and intermediate positions) via the boost pressure control flap vacuum unit depending on the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal from the CDI control unit (N3/28).
Input signals Direct input signals
The boost pressure control flap pressure transducer receives PWM signals from the CDI control unit.
The boost pressure control flap pressure transducer controls boost pressure by regulating the exhaust flow to the high-pressure turbocharger and low-pressure turbocharger.
Air is admitted to the boost pressure control flap pressure transducer via the same filter used for air entering the wastegate pressure transducer (Y77/7).
When installing the vacuum lines, observe the color markings on the vacuum line and the vacuum unit.
