Install A-Pillar Outer Paneling With A-Pillar Reinforcement. - Ar63.20-D-1122-03H

The following operation steps are shown on model 906.733 on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Install A-pillar reinforcement (4), fit and fix in place.
2. A-pillar reinforcement (4) (areas U and V).
3. A-pillar reinforcement (4) (area T).
4. Clean inert gas spot welds (area T).
5. Coat inert gas spot welds with zinc dust paint (area T).

6. Install A-pillar outer section (1), fit and fix in place.
7. A-pillar outer section (1) (area F).
8. A-pillar outer section (1) (areas A, B, C, D and E).
9. Grind MIG plug welds down flat (area E).
10. A-pillar outer section (1) (areas K and O).
11. A-pillar outer section (1) (areas J and N).
12. A-pillar outer section (1) (areas G, H and I).

13. Install hinged door (7) with hinges (6) and fit.
14. Tack weld hinges (6) on A-pillar outer section (1) (areas L and M).
15. Remove hinged door (7).
16. Hinges (6) on A-pillar outer section (1) (areas L and M).
17. Inner A-pillar (5) (area AA).
18. Grind A-pillar outer section (1) down flat in crosshatched areas.
19. Grind A-pillar outer section (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
20. Restore surface on door frame paneling bottom section in crosshatched areas and smooth.

21. Install strut (2), fit and fix in place
22. Rivet strut (2) with blind rivets (steel 4.8X8) (areas P, Q and R).
