with code PB2 (Mastercode retarder VMC) 

as from 2010 onwards, Sprinters with the special equipment code PB2 (Mastercode retarder VMC) have been distributed directly as complete vehicles through the Mercedes-Benz Sales organization. The different retarder variants are identified in the VeDoc with the following customer request codes under the "Bodies" tab:

• Telma retarder model designation 906. x5x
  • KVR7ZAW011 Wheelbase 3665 mm
  • KVR7ZAW021 Wheelbase 4325 mm

The Supplementary Instructions for the retarder scope are enclosed with the vehicle.

Training  :

Vehicle-specific training courses will be offered by Cars company as required.

Warranty or Hotline  :

The warranty conditions for the Sprinter apply for the entire scope of the vehicle.

Warranty is processed via the VEGA simplified warranty processing system.

Code-specific damage codes are available in design group DG 60 under the designation "VMC, electric retarder".

The scope of repairs not stored with a damage code must be agreed with the Cars company directly.
