Without body work
- Clean window cutout
- Level remaining adhesive bead with offset scraper to a thickness of 1 mm.
Roll out window removal tool, fold scraper
- Vacuum clean window cutout and dashboard
Wet/dry vacuum cleaner
- If applicable, touch up paint damage with primer.
Allow primer to air-dry for a minimum of 10 minutes.
During body work
- Perform body work
- Perform paintwork.
- Clean window cutout
- Level remaining adhesive bead with offset scraper to a thickness of 1 mm.
Roll out window removal tool, fold scraper
- Apply primer to painted bonding surface.
