| 1 | Remove crossmember cover (1) | AR77.37-P-3500W | |
| 2 | Remove center paneling (2) and right side luggage compartment lining (3) | AR68.30-P-4600W | |
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connector (4) | ||
| 4 | Mark installation position of electrical wiring harness (5), particularly in area of Vario roof main bearing (6). Remove electrical wiring harness (5) from Vario roof crossmember (7) and expose up to Vario roof stowed limit switch (S69/11) | ||

| 5 | Lay electrical wiring harness (5) toward rear in trunk | ||
| 6 | Unscrew bolt (8) and remove Vario roof stowed limit switch (S69/11) upward and pull electrical wiring harness (5) upward out of Vario roof main bearing (6) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order |
