Repair wiring harness for roll bar trigger solenoid - AR54.18-P-0605RK

DANGER Risk of injury  when performing check and repair work in area of roll bar Keep body parts out of the area where the roll bar unit extends. AS91.00-Z-0003-01RQ
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove rear wall paneling   AR68.30-P-4750RK
2 Remove rear luggage box   AR68.30-P-7440RK
3 Remove frame from additional battery   AR54.10-P-0007RK 
4 Remove cover from side of center console   AR68.20-P-2355RK
5 Open stowage compartment (2) and remove cover (2.1)    
6 Remove bolts (3) securing stowage compartment (2)    
7 Lift stowage compartment (2) out of vehicle    
8 Remove bolts (4) securing center console (1)    
9 Remove screw/bolts (5)    
10 Detach center console (1) toward rear in direction of arrow    
11 Remove cover (7) IMPORTANT Disconnect the connectors from the cover (7).  
12 Disconnect battery ground line   AR54.10-P-0003RK 
13 Raise center console (1) until yellow connectors (8) of Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/10) are accessible    
14 Disconnect yellow connectors (8) from Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/10)    
15 Create access to roll bar trigger solenoid connector (9) at left roll bar trigger solenoid and right roll bar trigger solenoid and disconnect    
  Repair     
16 Repair wiring harness (10) using solder connector NOTES
Do not repair the wiring harness at the left roll bar trigger solenoid and right roll bar trigger solenoid.
The roll bar can otherwise be triggered.
IMPORTANT If the wiring harness for the left roll bar trigger solenoid or right roll bar trigger solenoid is damaged, the left roll bar trigger solenoid or right roll bar trigger solenoid must be replaced.

    Remove/install roll bar AR91.50-P-2355RK
17 Install new contacts in plug (9.1) NOTES
Repair of the connector (9.2) of the wiring harness at the left roll bar trigger solenoid or right roll bar trigger solenoid is not allowed. The roll bar can otherwise be triggered.
IMPORTANT The plug (9.1) is a Micro Quadlok System plug (variant 1).
IMPORTANT If the connector (9.2) of the wiring harness for the left roll bar trigger solenoid or right roll bar trigger solenoid is damaged, the left roll bar trigger solenoid or right roll bar trigger solenoid must be replaced.

    Remove/install roll bar AR91.50-P-2355RK
INSPECT Check     
18 Check wiring harness for roll bar trigger solenoid   AR54.18-P-0605-01RK

    SPECIAL TOOL Adapter cable Fig 8
    SPECIAL TOOL 96-pin adapter cable Fig 5
INSTALLING Install     
19 Install in the reverse order
