Remove/install 12 Volt socket - AR54.10-P-1000RK

DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
IMPORTANT Notes on sensor system for trunk lid opening/closing   AH80.61-P-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with code (889) KEYLESS-GO.  
2 Open stowage compartment under center armrest When removing stowage compartment center console socket (X58/37).  
3 Open flap (2) of stowage compartment center console socket (X58/37) or luggage compartment socket (X58/4) or front passenger footwell socket (X58/43) IMPORTANT When removing the luggage compartment socket (X58/4), observe the safety notice and information about the sensor system for trunk lid opening/closing.  
4 Release stowage compartment center console socket (X58/37) or luggage compartment socket (X58/4) or front passenger footwell socket (X58/43) using pliers (01) and pull out IMPORTANT The lugs of the SPECIAL TOOL pliers (01) must engage in the recesses of the housing. Only pull out enough so that the electrical connector (3) is accessible.

5 Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove stowage compartment center console socket (X58/37) or luggage compartment socket (X58/4) or front passenger footwell socket (X58/43) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Make sure that the stowage compartment center console socket (X58/37) and luggage compartment socket (X58/4) and front passenger footwell socket (X58/43) are installed at the correct position.  
6 Install in the reverse order
