| 1 | Remove front door lining | AR72.10-P-1000LF | |
| 2 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2) from left front door control unit or right front door control unit | ||
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connectors from central locking motor (6) | ||
| 4 | Mark electrical connectors on valve block for hydraulic unit (3) and disconnect | Model 222 with code Z07 (Top protection) with code Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with code Z12 (Right front power window with special protection) Ensure that the electrical connectors are not mixed up. Otherwise the power windows can be damaged. |

| 5 | Release pressure in pressure reservoir for hydraulic power window in front door | Model 222 with code Z07 (Top protection) with code Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with code Z12 (Right front power window with special protection) |

| 6 | Disconnect electrical wiring harness from door | ||
| 7 | Separate cable tie from hydraulic lines (4) | Model 222 with code Z07 (Top protection) with code Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with code Z12 (Right front power window with special protection) |

| 8 | Disconnect couplings of hydraulic lines (4) by pressing spring clips apart | Model 222 with code Z07 (Top protection) with code Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with code Z12 (Right front power window with special protection) |

| 9 | Remove seal bellows (5) from hydraulic lines (4) toward inside from door module | Model 222 with code Z07 (Top protection) with code Z11 (Left front power window with special protection) with code Z12 (Right front power window with special protection) Check seal bellows (5) of hydraulic lines (4) for leakage. Otherwise water can penetrate into the passenger compartment. |

| 10 | Remove central locking motor (6) | ||
| 11 | Unscrew bolts (7) from door module (1) | ||
| 12 | Remove door module (1) | ||
| Check | |||
| 13 | Check seal on inside of door module (1) for damage, replace seal if damaged | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order |
