	Check
1	Park the vehicle on a horizontal, level surface
2	Put vehicle in ready-to-drive condition	Vehicle in ready-to-drive condition means: Correct tire pressure Vehicle at normal level Steering is in straight-ahead position.
3	Close engine hood, doors and trunk lid
4.1	Insert transmitter key and turn to position "1"	MODEL 217 with CODE 463 (Head-up display) without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) MODEL 222 with CODE 463 (Head-up display) without CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) Circuit 15 R is switched.
4.2	Press KEYLESS-GO start-stop button once	MODEL 217 with CODE 463 (Head-up display) with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) MODEL 222 with CODE 463 (Head-up display) with CODE 889 (KEYLESS-GO) The foot brake may not be operated. Circuit 15 R is switched.
5	Set driver's seat to driving position for inspector
6	Check heads-up display	If the test pictures are not displayed correctly: ↓ Adjust heads-up display using diagnostic system.	AR54.30-P-6401-02LW
