Parking Assist systems, general 

The Parking Assist systems support the driver in parking situations in accordance with their configuration either actively or passively.

In both cases, the Parking Assist systems contribute to enhancing ride comfort and road safety.

The parking assistance systems are based on the optical detection of obstacles and on the detection of obstacles via ultrasonic measurement.

The following Parking Assist systems are available and they are described in separate documents:

• Reversing camera (RFK) function (with CODE 218 (Reversing camera)) 
• Parking system function (with CODE 220 (PARKTRONIC) or CODE 235 (Active Parking Assist)) 
• 360° camera function (with CODE 501 (360 degree camera))
