	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go: Press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).

2	Remove cover (1)
3	Unscrew bolts (2) below.
4	Remove cover (3)
5	Unscrew bolts (4, 5) below
6	Slightly pull paneling (6) upward and remove toward rear
7	Unclip electrical connectors (7)	Guide lower connector toward front through opening and then guide backwards through opening
8	Disconnect electrical connectors (8)
9	Pull DVD player downwards	Only on vehicles with code (864) Rear entertainment system Installation:  Ensure that catch tabs arrest audibly.
10	Unclip cover (9).	Only on vehicles with code (864) Rear entertainment system Installation:  Ensure that clips are seated correctly.
11	Unscrew bolts (10) below	Only on vehicles with code (864) Rear entertainment system
12	Slightly pull out DVD player	Only on vehicles with code (864) Rear entertainment system To gain access to electrical connectors (11
13	Disconnect electrical connectors (11)	Only on vehicles with code (864) Rear entertainment system
14	Install in the reverse order
15	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary	STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
