	Remove
1	Switch off ignition
2	Remove inner door sill	Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding
			AR68.30-P-4100GQ
3	Remove sealing frame (1) in area of outer door sill	Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector (2)	Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding
5	Press outer door sill off of longitudinal member	Long wedge	Figure
	Install
6	Clean assembly area of outer door sill
	Notes on removing adhesive residues and foils on paint and metal surfaces with surface conditioning disks		AH00.00-P-0013-01AK
		Remove adhesive residues with adhesive removal disk. Bonding surface must be free of grease and dust. Stripe off wheel, Ø 100 mm, with mounting shaft, 3M Deutschland GmbH D-41453 Neuss

7	Remove protective foil form outer door sill
8	Install outer protective strip on longitudinal member	For this purpose position outer protective strip on longitudinal member, lower and uniformly firmly press from center toward outside. Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding: Install guide pins in assembly holes.
9	Connect electrical connector (2)	Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding Correctly position electrical feed line (3).
10	Install sealing frame (1)	Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding
11	Install inner door sill	Vehicles with illuminated door sill molding
		Remove/install door sill molding	AR68.30-P-4100GQ
