Remove/install radiator grille - AR88.40-P-4001GQ

MODEL 166.0

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1 Open engine hood   AR88.40-P-1000GQ 
2 Remove cover on radiator support SPECIAL TOOL MODEL 166.0

3 Remove expansion rivets (1)    
4 Release radiator grille (2) IMPORTANT Press catch tabs (3, arrows) on inside of radiator grill (2) downward with suitable tool.  
5 Press radiator grille (2) toward rear and remove    
INSTALLING Install     
6 Put on radiator grille (2) and push toward front IMPORTANT The catch tabs (3, arrows) should catch audibly in the radiator grille (2).  
7 Install expansion rivets (1) IMPORTANT If required, adjust gap dimension.  
    Gap dimension *BE60.00-P-1001-01Z 
    Gap dimension *BE60.00-P-1002-01Z 
    SPECIAL TOOL MODEL 166.0
