2	Determine gap dimension (A) between roof paneling rear section and rear glass roof (1) and note	Feeler gauge	Fig 3
3.1	Remove left and right drip rail	Model 156 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) except code 720 (Roof railing) except code 725 (Roof rails, electropolished aluminum)

4	Remove front glass roof		AR77.21-P-0500NKA
5	Remove roller sun blind at rear		AR77.21-P-0201NKX
6	Position cutting wire (3) on rear glass roof (1) as shown and cut adhesive bead (4) in left and right side cutting area (C).	Helper required. Protect adjacent paint surfaces in cutting area with shields (2) against damage. Commercially available devices/tools:  Glass removal

7	Cut adhesive bead (4) in rear cutting area (B) and front cutting area (D) with cutting wire (3)	Helper required. Protect adjacent paint surfaces against damage when cutting with shields (2).

8	Cut adhesive bead (4) in side cutting areas (D) with cutting wire (3).	Helper required. Protect adjacent paint surfaces against damage when cutting with shields (2). To facilitate cutting adhesive bead, slightly lift rear glass roof (1) with assembly wedge before cutting.

9	Remove rear glass roof (1) with helper from body	Commercially available devices/tools:  Cup suction tool/shackle (for removing and installing windows)
	Install
10	Open driver-side window	To prevent rear glass roof (1) just installed from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when closing the doors.
11	Prepare rear glass roof (1) for installation		AR77.21-P-0600-02CW
		Before starting work, all components, materials and tools must be prepared for installing the rear glass roof (1). Otherwise it may not be possible to maintain permissible processing and joining times. Always observe instructions described in document referenced for preparing bonding surfaces on vehicle!  Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. Commercially available devices/tools:  Cup suction tool/shackle (for removing and installing windows)

12	Prepare rear glass roof body flange (1) for installation		AR77.21-P-0600-07NKX
		Always observe instructions described in document referenced for preparing bonding surfaces on vehicle!  Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

13	Apply adhesive for rear glass roof (1)		AR77.21-P-0600-03CW
		Apply adhesive within 25 min. and position rear glass roof (1) within next 15 minutes on body flange on vehicle side and fix in place. Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. Perform following operation steps 14 and 15 within 15 minutes.

14	Install rear glass roof (1) on body with aid of helper and align	Do not drive vehicle for 10 h after gluing in rear glass roof (1). Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured. Observe gap dimension (A) determined before removal. Center rear glass roof (1) between side roof paneling.
15	Put weights with large surface on rear glass roof (1)	Use weights with large surfaces such as sandbags to put load on rear glass roof (1). Otherwise the rear glass roof (1) can be damaged.
16.1	Install left and right drip rail	Model 156 with code 413 (Automatic panoramic sliding sunroof) except code 720 (Roof railing) except code 725 (Roof rails, electropolished aluminum)
