Remove/install crank window in rear door - AR72.12-P-1910NKA

REMOVING Remove     
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
DANGER Risk of injury  from contusions to hands if window glass is not secured Secure window to prevent it from falling down. AS67.00-Z-0002-01A
1 Completely open side window (1) in left or right rear door    
2 Remove rear door lining    
3 Remove outer sealing rail (3) NOTES
Do not bend outer sealing rail (3).
Otherwise the outer sealing rail (3) must be replaced.
 
4 Remove window guide rail (4) in area of cover (2)    
5 Remove profile seal (10) in area of cover (2)    
6 Remove bolts (5) IMPORTANT Prevent screws (5) from falling.  
7 Remove cover (2) from window frame    
8 Remove stop plug (6) from door module (7)    
9 Open side window (1) until bolt (8) is accessible through assembly opening in door module (7)    
10 Undo screw (8) by about 2 revolutions IMPORTANT Do not remove bolt (8).  
11 Remove crank window (1) from rear door window channel upward    
INSTALLING Install     
12 Guide side window (1) into window shaft in rear door and slide downward until mount (9) makes contact    
13 Completely lower side window (1) IMPORTANT Ensure that side window (1) remains in mount (9) when moving down by slightly pressing with hand.  
14 Install covering (2) IMPORTANT Ensure that cover (2) is seated correctly in window frame.  
15 Screw in bolts (5) IMPORTANT Prevent screws (5) from falling.  
16 Moisten rear of window guide seal (4) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
17 Remove window guide rail (4) in area of cover (2)    
18 Moisten rear of profile seal (10) with lubricant Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l *BR00.45-Z-1010-06A 
19 Install profile seal (10) in area of cover (2)    
20 Open side window (1) until bolt (8) is accessible through assembly opening in door module (7)    
21 Uniformly move side window (1) to front end stop (arrows) in window guide seal (4)    
22 Tighten screw (8)    
23 Insert stop plug (6) into door module (7)    
24 Install outer sealing rail (3)    
25 Install rear door lining    
26 Check for proper function and synchronize power window
