| 1 | Place steering column in the central height position | ||
| 2 | Disconnect ground line at battery | AR54.10-P-0003GZ | |

| 3 | Insert screwdriver T20 (01) into openings on steering wheel (2) and push retaining springs (7) inward | ||
| 4 | Remove driver airbag unit (1) far enough from steering wheel (2) until electrical connector (3) is accessible | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from steering column tube module | ||
| 6 | Disconnect driver airbag unit (1) from steering wheel (2) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 8 | Check supplemental restraint system (SRS) with STAR DIAGNOSIS | When installing new driver airbag unit (1) | |
