TIREFIT tire sealant has a shelf life of 4 years, measured from the date of manufacture marked on the container. The TIREFIT tire sealant should be replaced when its service life expires.
Application
- The TIREFIT tire sealant can be used at the breakdown location to seal minor punctures in the tire tread. The tire can then continue in limited use until it can be replaced.
- After using the TIREFIT tire repair kit, immediately locate the next Mercedes-Benz service center to get the damaged tire replaced with a new one.
- Tires which have been treated with TIREFIT tire sealant must not be repaired. They must always be replaced with new tires of the same make and manufacture.
- To avoid odor nuisance caused by the TIREFIT tire sealant, take the tire outside to bleed the air from it.
