IMPORTANT

Non-delivery mode:

With uncontrolled compressors the oil entrained in the compressed air is dissipated via the breather connection into the exhaust system or into the atmosphere.

With controlled compressors this oil is delivered back to the intake side of the compressor or into the connection chamber.

Delivery mode:

With controlled and uncontrolled compressors approx. 50 % of the delivered oil is delivered into the compressed air system, the rest is held back by the air drier. This oil quantity found in the air drier does not permit any conclusions to be drawn concerning the permissible oil ejection quantity.

The maximum permissible oil consumption is 2 g per operating hour.

Check compressor for oil loss if enlarged oil loss or oil consumption is suspected.
