Loosening and tightening regulation for camshaft bearing caps - AH05.20-N-0300-01B

NOTES

Loosening a camshaft bearing cap 

  1. Remove camshaft bearing caps 1, 3 and 5.
  2. Gradually release hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 2 and 4 by one turn each, until the back pressure is removed. Tightening up the camshaft bearing cap 
  1. Gradually tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 2 and 4 by one turn
  2. Tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 1, 3 and 5.

Engine 602 

Loosening a camshaft bearing cap 

  1. Remove camshaft bearing caps 1, 2 and 6.
  2. Gradually release hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 3, 4 and 5 by one turn each, until the back pressure is removed. Tightening up the camshaft bearing cap 
  1. Gradually tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 3, 4 and 5 by one turn.
  2. Tighten hexagon head bolts of camshaft bearing caps 1, 2 and 6.
