Instructions for testing on the roller dynamometer
Always adhere to the specified tightening sequence. Avoid any damage to the transfer case.
Brake testing
- The vehicle must be secured in order to prevent it from rolling away when the rear axle is being tested.
- The parking brake must be applied when the front axle is being tested.
- The maximum testing time is 60 s per axle at a maximum test drum speed of 6 km/h.
If these values are exceeded:
- The propeller shaft to the relevant stationary axle must be disconnected from the transfer case at the flange.
- The transfer case lock must be engaged.
- Attention must be paid to the indicator lamp in the center console.
Performance test
