Retrofit steering wheel heater power supply wiring harness - AN46.11-P-0001-01ES

  1. Attach round cable lug (10) with inside diameter of 6 mm at brown line (br).

  2. Connect brown line (br) of power supply wiring harness at left front footwell ground point (W15/5).
  3. Open driver footwell cable duct (3).
  4. Route red line (rt) of power supply wiring harness from left front footwell ground point (W15/5) to driver footwell cable duct (3).

  5. Open all driver footwell cable ducts (3).
  6. Route red line (rt) along driver footwell cable ducts (3) to B-pillar.
  7. Route red line (rt) into the B-pillar cable duct (4) using a pull-through device.
  8. Close driver footwell cable ducts (3).

  9. Remove expansion clip (7).
  10. Open left rear passenger compartment cable duct (6).
  11. Lift rear passenger compartment floor covering (5) and route red line (rt) along left rear passenger compartment cable duct (6).
  12. Close left rear passenger compartment cable duct (6).

  13. Only on model 212.2

    Remove ISOFIX mount cover (8) from brackets (arrows C).

  14. Wrap felt tape (9) around red line (rt) behind left rear passenger compartment cable duct (6) over a length of 3000 mm.
  15. Route red line (rt) from left rear passenger compartment cable duct (6) along vehicle wiring harness to rear seat backrest as shown.
  16. Fix red line (RD) in place on vehicle wiring harness using cable ties (10).

  17. Route red line (rt), as shown, along vehicle wiring harness to cable duct (11).
  18. Route red line (rt) along the cable duct (11) to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) in the trunk.
  19. Fix red line (rt) in place on vehicle wiring harness using cable ties (arrows D).
  20. Position rear seat backrest (12) vertically again.

  21. Unclip transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) from brackets (arrows E) on rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

    Only for vehicles in which the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) is already installed.

  22. Release fuses (arrow A and B) on transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2).

    IMPORTANT On vehicles in which the transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) is already installed, this holder is used. The transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) contained in the package contents must otherwise be used.

  23. Install red line (RD) in slot "1" of transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) and close lock (arrow B).

    IMPORTANT The numbering of the slots is on the rear of the transparent fuse holder (7- pin) (2).

  24. Install electrical fuse 65 (N10/2f65) with power of 7.5 A into the slot "1" of the transparent 7-pin fuse holder (2) and lock the fuse on the transparent 7-pin fuse holder (2).
  25. Clip transparent fuse holder (7-pin) (2) into color-coded slot on rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
