| 1 | Remove steering column tube (7) | Do not handle the steering column tube (7) by the steering column in/out adjustment motor (M20/1) or the steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2). These components will otherwise be damaged. |

| 2 | Remove bolts (1) | ||
| 3 | Push steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2) to one side and pull flexible shaft (2) out of steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2) | ||
| 4 | Remove steering column up/down adjustment motor (M20/2) | ||
| 5 | Move height adjustment to lowest position | ||
| 6 | Unscrew nut (4) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew bolts (3) and remove plate (6) and adjusting spindle (5) with flexible shaft (2) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order |
